 I made something for my Axe Slayer Yumi ebook.  Just part of the "secret" project for the ebook I'm currently working on on the side.  As I said before, I'll eventually talk about that.

So I finally got around to updating this blog again.  Yeah, yeah, I know, I know.  Another very late update.  You know how it is.  Work, work, work, and more work.  And then, of course, being too tired and lazy to update when you do find some free time, most of which, by the way, I had been spending writing my ebook.  I now have oodles and oodles of Axe Slayer Yumi chapters to post, which I will.  Eventually.

I have some news that I will eventually want to talk about here but as things are not yet really final, I won't just yet lest I jinx it or something.  Speaking of which, knock on wood and crossed fingers and all that jazz.  Better safe than sorry.  Heh.

Yeah, most like, cuz, you know, you never can tell what's gonna happen.  Nothing's written on stone and all that geologic jazz.  Heh.  And that's just the way I like it, truth be told.  Yeah.  A heck of a lot less stress that way.

NEW PAGE FOR STORY IDEAS

I mentioned before that I was considering opening another blog site to house my story ideas, particularly in light of my finding my old, hand-scribbled notes of ideas for stories to consider and develop.

I thought about it.

And then I thought about it some more.

And then I brewed myself a pot of coffee and, of course, thought about it some more.

And when I have thought about it enough, I decided that finishing the last of the potato salad in the fridge was the perfect thing to cap off the day.

As for my story ideas, it didn't take me all that long to see that opening a new blog site to house them would not be such a hot idea after all.  While I do have a couple of pages of my old notes, I have no illusions whatsoever with regards to my ability to come up with new story ideas as to be able to update said blog site on a regular basis for long.

Indeed.  Instead, creating blog pages would be a better and much more convenient way for me to post my story ideas, methinks.

And that is precisely what I intend to do.  From here on, I will be creating and posting Story Idea pages, with each page housing up 4 story ideas.  The links for these pages will be located on the right side bar, just above the Archives list.

And so I present to you the first of these Story Idea pages:

So I cleaning up some old, not to mention very dusty, stuff on my table -- yeah, yeah, I know, I'm a lazy slob, so sue me, heh -- and I found this old notebook wherein I had written some story ideas.  Which kinda got me thinking, you know.  Why not make another blog site this time about story ideas that I might either give away to anyone who's interested of developing the story idea or that I might some day develop and write myself?

Yeah.  Why not indeed?

As of yet though, I haven't really decided on anything.  In all likelihood, I'll let the notion percolate a bit in the back of my head to finally decided sometime the end of next week.

If I do decide to run with the idea, I'm gonna have to think up of a name for the blog site.  I have no idea at the moment.  Doe!

I found myself with some free time (from work) and so I decided to put in some work on my writing.

Got down a few paragraphs on my Axe Slayer Yumi book but mostly I found myself typing up the pages of my Mallet Girl manuscript.  Yeah, the latter was easier to do with the time that I had seeing as it was already written (well, for the most part at least; it is an unfinished manuscript after all) and all.

With that said, I have decided to update my Mallet Girl blog, which I have decided to do 3 pages at a time.  Yeah.  Three pages.  Unlike Axe Slayer Yumi, which has very short chapters, Mallet Girl has very long ones so I think 3 pages per update should do just nicely.

I'll upload my next update for Axe Slayer Yumi next week.  Heh.

MALLET GIRL

So I opened up another blog.  You will recall that I mentioned having found some old work/manuscripts of mine and, well, I have decided to type them up and post them as a blog.  Well, one of them at least.  Mallet Girl.

I had actually scanned the pages of my Mallet Girl manuscript, which I had typed up using an old typewriter of mine, and uploaded the pages on my DeviantArt account.  Them pages are still somewhere in my DeviantArt archives if you're interested:

There's still nothing there though as I have only just begun typing up the pages.  Probably in a week or two, I'll have posted something there already.  Heh.

WORK, WORK, WORK

Sigh.

I found myself preoccupied with work-related stuff.  Yeah, I know.  Still gotta work and all that even with the dang lockdown.  Still gotta earn some moolah.  Work from home and all that.

I should be thankful, of course.  One, I was still earning some despite what's going on.  And two, I was still able to do what was needed to be done even with my computer problems.

Sigh.

It wasn't heavy work, thankfully.  Just some paperwork that needed to be done.

So yeah, no update whatsoever this week.  But next week most definitely I'll be able to post some news and updates.

Also I'm currently working on another image for the book and I also found some of my old (unfinished) manuscripts/projects which I'm considering whether or not to type up and make another blog out of so the next update for Axe Slayer Yumi just might be delayed by a week or so.

Still, I haven't really decided on anything so we'll see.

AXE SLAYER YUMI - UPDATE

Two things to announce regarding Axe Slayer Yumi.

First, I updated the header or title of the blog, uploading an image to serve as the blog's title.  It's not much but I like it.  Heh.

Second, with my laptop still, more or less, out of commission, I have decided to change my update schedule.  I mentioned before that I was aiming for an update schedule of around twice a week.  Well, that's gonna be a hard one to keep with my computer woes and all.  So instead, I'll try for once a week update schedule and I'd count myself lucky indeed to be able to keep to it.

Sigh.

Well, what can you do, right?

Right.  Just gonna have to keep on pluggin' and hope for the best.  Crossed fingers and all that.

Woof.

Just when I thought I had things up and running again, with this blog site in particular, my laptop up and sputtered out on me.  Something was wrong with the LCD screen.

Dang.

And with the Wuhan virus thing still raging on and with the quarantine measures being implemented hereabouts, all the computer shops were closed.

Double dang.

Fortunately, I still had my old netbook that used to be my go-to gadget for net surfing and such before I got my laptop.  It had been gathering dust in my closet.  And luckily, it was still working.  It was slow as heck though particularly compared to my laptop (and that laptop was getting a bit on the old side itself and it was getting around to the time that I'd have to buy me a new one).

Still it was better than nothing.

So here's the next chapter, late as it is, of Axe Slayer Yumi.

You know, it just occurred to me that I could try hooking up laptop to my LCD TV and use the TV as a computer monitor.  That way, if the problem was only the laptop's LCD screen then the problem would be temporarily addressed that way.  Yeah.

Now if only I can get my hands on a VGA cable.....

As I had mentioned before, I already a few chapters written down and so I was able to post the next chapter so close to the previous one.  Heh.

With that said though, methinks I'll limit my updates on Axe Slayer Yumi to twice a week, maybe, say, Mondays and Thursdays, you know, just to give me more time to write the stuff and, of course, build up my reserves.  At the very least, I'll try to post updates at least once a week.  It will all, of course, depend on the circumstances.

And so, until Monday then.

AXE SLAYER YUMI EBOOK

Ok, so here's what I'm currently working on:  an AXE SLAYER YUMI ebook.  To this end, I've made another blog page to house the chapters I'll be writing.  In fact, I've already posted one chapter:

I have more written down but that should be enough for now, I reckon.  Heh.

Now you might notice that while here in this blog, the comments is via Disqus but at the Axe Slayer Yumi blog, it just uses the default comment system of Blogger.  Heh, well, that's because, one, the lazy as that I am, I would much prefer that you post your comments here rather than in the Axe Slayer Yumi blog so I won't have to go back and forth between the two blogs just for the comments.  You know, keep things simple and all that.

Of course, there's nothing stopping you posting you comments there instead of here but just know that I'm more likely to respond here than there.

I'M BACK!

Hey! Hey! Hey! Yo, I'm back!

Well...um...not that I was here very long to begin with. I mean, I only managed to make 3 entries here before life and my inherent laziness got the better of and I sort of forgot all about this place.

 Well, as I had mentioned, I'm back and have cleaned up the place and gave it a make-over. I had decided that I'll be using this place as a jumping point of sorts for the other stuff I'm planning on making. Here I'll be posting news and updates on said stuff. Case in point, with all the free time I've gotten recently on account of all this Wuhan Flu Snafu we're all facing, I found the ol' creative juices flowing and have once again started banging away on the keyboard. I've already gotten a few pages down and I'll make another post about it.

Yeah, but for now, yes! I'm back! Woo-hoo! Don't know how long be able to keep it up though particularly after all this shit is over and done with.....
